Husband is going to have to be working out of town on our 7th anniversary. It's on a Sunday. The job is around 2 hours away, just over the state line. But they won't let him come home. This sucks. So last week, we celebrated early by taking an hour after the kids were in bed and going on a dinner date.

As it was a date, and as there was also a chef making big flourishes and setting a lot of things on fire, I didn't get any photos. But I ordered the shrimp and steak, DH got the steak and scallops and it was all FANTASTIC! Together, our date ran us about $50, which is pretty steep for us. Since it was an anniversary date, however, I think it was a very well spent $50. :)
